Dear Partners and Friends,

On behalf of the Area A (Africa and the Middle East) team, I welcome you to be a part of history once again in the land of Tunisia. As you are aware, this year’s Conference is scheduled to take place in Monastir, yet another great city that shares much of what we all experienced and enjoyed in Sousse, in what seems like yesterday.

Believe me when I say: I cannot wait to join great leaders and entrepreneurs from across Africa and the Middle East and, most especially, our regular guests from the other Areas, in what has been termed “an experience of a lifetime,” geared towards discovery and indeed healthy living.

Come and share with us the rich and alluring ambiance of Monastir, where nature and culture meet to create an ideal location and also to whisper answers to many questions that, often times, we ask ourselves in our quiet and secret corners!

Above all, we will meet, learn and grow, and share knowledge, which remains our pride in JCI. Area A is proud to host the world in the renewed vigor and spirit of change, which has enveloped this organization and is preparing us all for yet a higher level of accomplishment.

In our different National Organizations, let us begin to sensitize and encourage our members and, most importantly, our friends both individual and corporate, to mark out this period as one of exciting developmental changes, which will take root and take charge of their daily experiences, presenting to them opportunities to enrich, affirm, buttress and stimulate all that they require to live a balanced life.

Monastir is a passion; it is a must experience and a function of our tomorrow today! The Area A team — which comprises the Conference Organizing Committee (COC), all the members of the Host Local Organization, and me — is working tirelessly to surpass your expectations and leave you speechless in the few days that we will share together.
